Energizing our Bodies for Spring

Spring is right around the corner and with all this rainfall we've been having I'm excited to see all the vibrant colors and taste the delicious fresh fruit we'll have in season this year! Spring is the time for renewal and a fresh start so let's talk about how we can apply this towards our own lives. In Chinese Medicine, Spring is related to the liver and gall bladder so it's an excellent time to detoxify our bodies and re-energize. Rather than starting an extreme fast, I recommend eating foods that will stimulate the liver to detoxify. Foods such as dandelion greens, mustard greens and tumeric benefit the liver.
